We decided to take the opportunity to visit my Uncle and Aunt in Louisville. We quickly stopped at a Blue Beacon Truck Wash on our way to give the trailer a much-needed wash. I planned to film the process, but they told me it was against company policy. It’s odd, but I guessed it was likely for liability reasons.

Since my Uncle and Aunt didn’t have a spare bedroom, they kindly offered to let us park the trailer in their driveway for the night. While the driveway wasn’t extensive, we backed the trailer in without much trouble. Thankfully, they had a 30-amp power hookup, which allowed us to run the air conditioner, and we ran a water hose to the trailer to meet any water needs. We avoided filling the gray or black water tanks, so we didn’t expect to use too much water during our stay.

They prepared a delicious steak meal for dinner, and we spent the evening catching up. Both are seasoned Class A RV campers, so I asked for advice on some things I had been considering for our own setup. It was a great evening filled with good food, conversation, and valuable travel tips.
